WEB QUEST 

INTRODUCTION
You are the new technology coordinator for a school district that is purchasing computers for their schools. This is the first time they have purchased computers and they want you to give a report at the next school board meeting on the top 5 companies that sell IBM compatible computers.

YOUR TASK
You will divide into five groups; three students in each group. Your group will be assigned a company to report on. You will write a 3-5 page report and create a power point presentation based on the following:

• Give a general overview of your company; include things like the year they were founded, size of the company, their reported income and a time line of their growth.
• What kind of computers does the company produce? Include computers you would purchase for your schools and their prices.
• Does the company deal only in computers or do they have other products and if so what are those products?
  
  Paper - Gather information as a group, but each of you must write your own report. The report is to be 3-5 pages typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font no larger than 12 pt.
  
  Presentation - The power point presentation must be done as a group with each of you doing a section. Take the best information from all of your papers to develop your presentation. You must have at least 10 screens.

You may have to do a little digging for information on your own!
